Finding the map for me

Recommended Posts

I'm new to this community and have never used this "type" of a forum, so please point out if I'm not doing something that is incorrect.

My Question.

I'm looking for a map to play on FS 17. What I'm looking for is "career mode" type play, I'd like a smallish start, with some room to grow. I do like the Mountain Valley Farm, though having 300ish trees to take down to start does seem a little daunting. What I don't want is something that is difficult to drive around on. I use the keyboard for steering so the really tight maps give me fits. Snetterton's is beautiful and has a lot of options of things to do, but It's a bit too large feeling. Seasons Mod ready and the ability for animals are also important.

I won't go on but would love to hear some suggestions that I could investigate.

Thanks!

How about Lawfolds?   I actually played Lawfolds fairly close to career mode and found it to really be an awesome map.  I played it for two Seasons years.  So far it's been my favorite map of FS17.

Westbridge hills?  Crossroads or Southwind acres, Agriculture Map or my personal fav Serenity Valley

Those are a few from my map impressions play list that might fit your bill.

Dusty Cove or Penberlan are smaller maps that may fit your requirements also....

Thank all ya'll for giving up opinions. @GrizzlyBearSims , I'm currently playing Lawfolds, but I just started out with so many fields and so much equipment it feels huge. I'm only just getting into summer, so I am going to give it some more time. It is a nice map, the roads are wide enough for my crazy driving and I can get my equipment in the sheds with little fuss.

Thanks again for the suggestions.
