Lua Scripting

is there anybody who know scripting in LUA? For example, I try to modify the DriveControl mod to store its config xml file not in Farming Simulator 17 folder but in savegame folder. I change it finaly, but script looks on load, if xml file exists and if not, it creates it. But when you save the game, everything is erased and created once again, but this driveControl_config.xml is not recreated. So the xml file persists only until you save the game 😄


PS: It would be nice if somebody will have a time to explain to me some basics of LUA. I mean no programming basics, but LUA environment for FS17, and how to call a function, because I see few different ways how to define and call function in code. Where I can find FS17 environment variables, functions and so on. How to test my code efficiently... and so on...
